Enjoy an all inclusive Golf Special at the Barbon Inn and Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club. The Package comprises of a Round of Golf in the afternoon on the day of arrival, Dinner Bed & Breakfast at the Barbon Inn and a further Round of Golf the following day with Lunch included. The Luncheon time can be on either day.
Prices are £192.90 for 2 people playing Golf and checking in Sunday to Thursday, or £222.90 for 2 people playing Golf and checking in Friday or Saturday.
The Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club and The Barbon Inn are set in the Heart of the beautiful Valley of the Lune, a majestic choice of John Ruskin, artist, architect and social reformer, for Walks, Painting and outstanding Views of the River Lune, Barbon and Middleton Fell and The How Gills whose Mountains start the N. W. part of the Pennine Chain. All are in view as you play the interesting and well laid out Golf Course at Beckfoot, which is the actual location of the Club.
Direction to both locations is simple. From the South or North take the M6 Motorway and exit at No 36 onto the A65 going East, through the outskirts of Kirkby Lonsdale to Devil’s Bridge and turn left onto the A683 to Sedbergh and Casterton. From Leeds or Harrogate take the A65 and turn right at Devils Bridge.
Travel 2 miles approx from Devil’s Bridge, through Casterton and you will find the KLGC to the Left and The Barbon Inn to the Right at the same junction.
Additionally, ‘The Barbon Inn’ provides a 3 Day Special Offer for All Comers that will include a round of Golf at the Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club.
This natural and unspoilt part of England borders the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District and the ‘Yet to be Found Forest of Bowland’, enjoy one or more of them before your return Home.
